"Kiwis" are a down to earth laid-back group of people who are proud of their country, their culture and their sporting prowess, no more so than the National Rugby Team "The All Blacks". The indigenous Maori culture is also a key component of New Zealand’s lifestyle and language and there are many opportunities to learn more about this as you travel New Zealand.

Get up close and personal with some of the unique New Zealand wildlife, from the reclusive native kiwi bird, after which New Zealanders are named, to penguins, giant albatross, gannets and whales. You might also spot a sheep or two on your travels, not surprising as there are 30 million of them, well outnumbering the human population of 4.5 million.

As there is a huge variety of scenery so too the variety of things to do. New Zealand has a proud and distinguished wine industry and there are many places available to sample local wines particularly in the regions of Hawkes Bay, Martinborough and Marlborough. With easy access to the coast and many beautiful inland rivers, water sports such as jet-boating, yachting, fishing, and kayaking are prevalent. And of course we can’t forget Queenstown "the Adventure Capital" of New Zealand where travelers can try bungy-jumping, paragliding, mountain biking, 4 x 4 trips, white water rafting and more.
